Pros

Some management was pleasant to work with like Robert. The employee discount was nice.

Cons

They expected you to wear several hats and not get paid anymore for it. Never got a raise for the years I worked there. Only “moved” to suit their short comings. Constantly in different departments when short staffed. Expected to work all holidays and had a complete disregard for their employees health. Most management only cared about what was best for them. I needed surgery and was told to delay it a month because my recovery would interfere with their busy season. Went over there head and then suddenly it was “fine.” Lots of disgruntled staff. Be prepared to be talked about based off if you have a better schedule than another coworker. They also sucked with keeping loss prevention to keep us safe. Sorry not gonna risk my life over a crackhead trying to steal. Very petty atmosphere and no sense of community. If you do what they want perfectly then you will be golden, God forbid you have an outside life and family and you will be degraded. You’re worth is determined on how many credit card applications you open and how open your availability is. Management will even pull you aside to ask what other coworkers talk crap about them and say specifically. Like its not my job to report to you every thing someone says about you. Grow up people. Its like a soap opera.

Pros

I loved my job. I’m met so many wonderful people. And the associates couldn’t have been better.

Cons

I hurt myself and had to have surgery, and I was on Worker’s Comp. with limited availability. Because hours were short in operations, they made up this crazy position and wanted me to be ”lead” of the markdown team. I knew that meant for the most part to do go backs. I told them I wasn’t allowed to be on my feet that long and so she said they couldn’t accommodate me and I had to leave. And then the manager had the nerve to call their workers comp and told them I wasn’t coming into work. The management at that time was horrible. But there was a time when I first started working there that to store manager, and the assistant manager were wonderful. We were all so sad they left, but it didn’t take this new manager that I was talking about any time at all to lose almost the entire store associates.
