Pros
Lots of PTO. Mostly nice coworkers.
Cons
The amount of work expected from salaried managers is absolutely irresponsible and borderline obscene. Nothing is organized. Major changes in operational processes are implemented at the drop of a hat with little communication and no best practices offered. Upper management suddenly decided that the stores should be spotlessly clean and meticulously recovered at all times but allow no payroll to hourly associates, so salaried workers pick up all of the slack...and guess what... the stores are still a wreck! If you want a clean store, you have to give people hours. It doesn’t just happen when CEOs bark orders at the stores. It is a very toxic culture. Everyone is always terrified of getting in trouble. Store managers sit at their desk all day and order everyone around. RVPs visit the stores for a few minutes a month and order everyone around. There are so many meetings and so many people directing and VERY few people around to do the actual work.
