Pros
1. One of the most dynamic work environment I've ever experienced. There are so many talented people working in the company and there is a lot to learn from the peers and seniors. I have never faced a situation where I felt scared asking questions to my seniors, they are always more than willing to impart knowledge and solve queries. 2. The work I got to do here is the most challenging work I've done so far. I was involved in a couple of projects where I was involved in everything from architecture till deployment. 3. I was initially hired for the LAMP group, but when I showed interest in working on other technologies, I was given the opportunity to work on Java as well. This helped me enhance my skill set a lot. Though I agree I had to do a lot of self learning. 4. Good salary (plus overtime salary) and good annual hikes. 5. Some amount of flexibility.
Cons
1. Like I mentioned in the pros, lots of learning opportunities, but no formal training provided. It was a little challenging when I had to initially learn everything myself. Unless you are self motivated to learn yourself, it can be difficult. 2. The feedback system isn't great. There were no monthly meetings to discuss performances. So for a long time I wasn't sure if I'm going in the right direction or not. However, the monthly meetings have started some time back and hopefully it will continue." 3. Zero chances of onsite opportunity.
