Pros

The team and managers I got to work with were humble and good. I could ping or set up a meeting with them anytime and they would be ready to help. My unit lead in the U.S was a really good person to work with. Anytime I felt I wasn't getting much of work or wanted some help, I had to just ping him and he would gladly help. I really appreciate my team and leads for this attitude. If you work hard and if your team is good, you will be recognised. I remember working late nights for a project and my team lead was kind enough to tell me that he really appreciated this and even suggested me to take a small break after the project. The CEO too is pretty approachable. You can directly communicate with the leadership team and is pretty transparent. That is one thing i appreciate in this company. To sum up the pros, I think if u have a good team you can enjoy your stay at Gensuite. However, the work here is a mix of tech support and BA. It would be great if they have a different tech support team to handle requests and let BAs handle more technical stuff.

Cons

There were a lot of reorgs which made the employees pretty uncomfortable. Maybe they might work on improving it later. Pantry was not at all upto expectations. The coffee machine was old and not clean and pantry was not clean as well. The number of items too had reduced compared to the time I joined. Leave policy has become really bad. Some of my ex colleagues had problems with their team managers due to micromanagement. Few leads here lack the leadership skills and I think the overall promotion should be based on these skills as well as it plays a very important role. I did see a lack of professionalism in few employees. Their personal frustrations were taken out on other team members as well. I think there should be a separation between work and life. Gensuite is a company with a lot of potential and I hope the leadership team works on all the cons to make it a better place to stay and also make changes so that so many people don't leave at once.

Great experience so far. Have worked here for 2 years and have learned a lot about the industry and how it works. Definitely a good company to work at.

Pros

Technology/product was ok, able to do customizations

Cons

Toxic work culture, period. Leadership demanded so much and were condescending that affected employee morale. There were only a couple managers that were great to work with. It was very micromanaging that you had to use a certain font style and color for your emails. They change the company name every few years and focus on non-important items. It’s sad because the company could be good with different leadership. Work life balance is also a struggle. Your mental health can take a beating.
