Pros

There are some good people within the company, and all employees occasionally find motivation to complete excellent work despite constantly being beaten down. You'll build up a lot of experience in several different aspects of account management, business analysis, project execution, etc. as a result of having so many competing assignments.

Cons

Just about all of the negatives outlined in previous responses are accurate. Employees receive upwards of 150+ emails per day, a minimum of 70% of them don't require your direct action. Those that do pertain to you demand response immediately above all else, no matter how inane or menial the task, or your other priorities. Management has no clue how to manage, motivate, delegate, or coach whatsoever. In fact, all are simply "Yes" men to the CEO. Leadership's answer to all issues is further micromanagement, be it requiring more emails, more meetings, etc. Furthermore, they all read the reviews on this site but simply laugh them off as just another disgruntled, fired employee airing grievances and disregard any and all feedback. No one in the company has a clue how the company is doing financially. This the direct result of two things: the company controller and having too many hands in the finances (i.e. controller, operations team, business analysts, and managers). The controller regularly reports basic math (addition/subtraction) errors to the entire company as fact, unquestioned by leadership. Furthermore, everyone is constantly logging and re-logging financial numbers in the same system several times a week, leading to gross variances from one day to the next. Salaries are decent, but still well below local and national averages for the position you work. Bonuses may or may not come, so don't rely on them as part of your salary. Entry level employees, as well as all overseas employees, are not held accountable by anyone beyond the business analysts. Most put in as little effort as possible while performing their assigned tasks and simply toss over their not even half-way there efforts to the business analysts and let them perform the cleanup. Most, if not all, of the employees are beaten down and exhausted by the constant barrage of emails, reminder emails, constant "talks" with managers, and the constant threat of being made a public example over the CEO's latest annoyance du jour. Along those lines, the CEO is extremely "flavor of the week" with regards to his focus. One week it's bug fixes, the next it's project execution, the next it's finances, and the next it's whatever else catches his attention. Employees are constantly chasing their tails trying to keep up with whatever today's focus is. Promotions are truly nonexistent. Sure, you might get a change in title every once in awhile, and then over the next couple of months, every one of your colleagues you shared your previous title with will all find their way up to your new title, rendering the "promotion" a farce. You'll undergo two reviews per year, one of which matters (involves a formal review process with your input along with management's), the other is a joke that should not be taken seriously. Interpersonal issues are addressed by applying a bandaid, while completely ignoring the underlying cause. In the event a new employee overhears a negative comment, the commenter will be told to watch what they say rather than exploring the cause of the negative comment and addressing it. As can be expected, this is handled by the managers as a result of a nonexistent HR organization. If it weren't for the relationship with GE, I'm confident this company would have folded long ago.

Pros

Technology/product was ok, able to do customizations

Cons

Toxic work culture, period. Leadership demanded so much and were condescending that affected employee morale. There were only a couple managers that were great to work with. It was very micromanaging that you had to use a certain font style and color for your emails. They change the company name every few years and focus on non-important items. It’s sad because the company could be good with different leadership. Work life balance is also a struggle. Your mental health can take a beating.
