Free food and drinks. - Learn a lot and gain valuable experience working with top talent and clients - A team that will push you for your best and in many cases support where support is needed. Remember, as an employee you are required to work and improve your skills! - Compensation - depending on where you start one might think it low - there is plenty of room to grow and make an impact on the company and your personal wallet. - Benefits - where else do health benefits start on day 1? Here! - Company will provide some assistance in HSA funding if you choose a qualifying plan and the plan rates are generous compared to others in the market. - You get to make a difference in simplifying work for your client and ensuring quality products are made and employees remain safe! - Projects change and evolve - Co-workers (mostly) are AWESOME! - Work/life balance is generally pretty good. Gets a bit hectic around the busy times and/or during product releases! It's up to you to be aware of the balance you're allowing. - Recognition happens quite often (monetarily and awards)!
Cons
- Challenging clients and management - require you to bring your best each day. - Co-workers can be clicky and some annoying - people are people, you will learn to adapt - Can feel overwhelmed at times - remember to reach out to your team and management - Communication can be overwhelming or underwhelming at times - communication is a two way street - work at it. Don't be afraid to talk to management! - Coding standards can use some work - it's getting there, but there are different schools of thought at work.
