Literally don’t care - Direct Support Professional (DSP) Benchmark Human Services Employee Review

Pros

There are none to report

Cons

They made 2+ million in profit when I worked there but didn’t have room for legitimate raises. They only gave significant raises because it was government mandated. They also fired people for trying to start a union. All they do is drug up the guys to keep them calm.

Pros

- they assign you the caseload - early intervention allows for good work life balance and schedule

Cons

little investment in CEUS/ongoing professional development and you are alone as the therapist in the family's home. So you have no mentorship, you are pretty much on your own. If you are an ambitious therapist that wants to be excellent in what you do, this is not the right setting.
