Pros

I love the clients, I love being able to work at a job that brings me personal satisfaction. That's worth so much more than the beans they pay us to be here. That's why I stay.

Cons

There is very little training for management, except what friendly coworkers will lend you. Paperwork and regulations can be overwhelming at times, and being on call 24/7 is draining.

Pros

- they assign you the caseload - early intervention allows for good work life balance and schedule

Cons

little investment in CEUS/ongoing professional development and you are alone as the therapist in the family's home. So you have no mentorship, you are pretty much on your own. If you are an ambitious therapist that wants to be excellent in what you do, this is not the right setting.
