Pros

-compensation was fair -I had reasonable opportunities for promotion -had a terrific team which made the job very enjoyable -I had a good amount of autonomy to drive work forward aligning it with overall business objectives. -provided good work/life balance

Cons

-it felt big and corporate with lots of hoops and procedures to get some things done -it wasn't as agile a work environment as some smaller companies I've worked for

Pros

Best Buy brought in a strong inclusive culture and a balanced focus on short term and long term priorities when they acquired the legacy GreatCall (now Best Buy Health) in 2018.

Cons

The company is going through turmoil right now (2026). Best Buy sold off its b2b component and is cost cutting at every step in the remaining consumer business. Not a place to build a career right now.
