If you work here for a secondary income, you're ok. Primary income, forget it, you'll starve. - Operator Services Best Buy Health Employee Review

Pros

Decent benefits, eligible the first month after being hired. PTO begins to accrue immediately.

Cons

Not family friendly. Dishonest management. Attendance points are assessed as punishment when days are missed and forfeiting 8 hours of PTO for each day missed. Paid way too little for the abusive customers that have to be dealt with. PTO approval inconsistent, 3 days in a row requested, 2nd day denied and had to be taken up to the next level. Inconsistent scheduling. Training of second call center is inconsistent, too many mistakes are being made by those OSR's. Too much inconsistency.

Pros

Benefits, Culture, Opportunities, Experience and purpose

Cons

I do not have any cons about Best Buy and would work with them in the future as I grow in my certifications and learning for HR.

Pros

Best Buy brought in a strong inclusive culture and a balanced focus on short term and long term priorities when they acquired the legacy GreatCall (now Best Buy Health) in 2018.

Cons

The company is going through turmoil right now (2026). Best Buy sold off its b2b component and is cost cutting at every step in the remaining consumer business. Not a place to build a career right now.
