Pros
The people that are hired at Great Call are for the most part, very nice and personable people. The work schedules that are available, reflect a high level of diversity as you can start work very early (4am), or start in the afternoon (2pm). The entry level of pay is extremely competitive for the Reno market. To an employee just starting with this company, all is well. The insurance benefit available at the employee start of hire is also attractive.
Cons
The disconnect between the Carlsbad Ca, location and the Reno location is so extreme that at times the employee will feel like Great Call is actually two different companies. The Carlsbad reps are for the most part senior to Reno's and are not afraid to make Reno reps feel inferior, thus diminishing the positive atmosphere. The second most important con of this company is the selection or advancement of employees to Supervisors. At least half of the Supervisors at the Reno location, are less talented at taking calls, or vastly more computer illiterate than the employees to whom they critique.
