Pros

This place is okay to work if you don't expect much from your environment. If you like unprofessional behavior, managers and coworkers throwing fits and don't mind rigorous, arbitrary rules being declared by HR, this might be the place for you.

Cons

Please see pros. If you aren't expecting much besides a paycheck and boring, monotonous work to do, this is fine. If you like managers that act like children when they don't get their way, then you'll find this place to be fine. People will shout at you when you don't meet expectations. Team members will throw others under the bus to protect themselves. Managers will blame their underlings for issues rather than taking responsibility. The environment is best described as toxic, and few people who have been working here for a long time have anything positive to say about it.

Pros

Benefits, Culture, Opportunities, Experience and purpose

Cons

I do not have any cons about Best Buy and would work with them in the future as I grow in my certifications and learning for HR.

Pros

Best Buy brought in a strong inclusive culture and a balanced focus on short term and long term priorities when they acquired the legacy GreatCall (now Best Buy Health) in 2018.

Cons

The company is going through turmoil right now (2026). Best Buy sold off its b2b component and is cost cutting at every step in the remaining consumer business. Not a place to build a career right now.
