Pros

* building first-class tech that has true product-market fit * clear market leader & first to solve this problem for vacation rentals * exec team is very committed to Go-To-Market org * high moral standard across the org, starts with C-lvl * responsible, fast-paced growth; gone from 6 to 26 people while remaining profitable in the last 18 months * benefits surprisingly good - ie 401k match * competitive comp * beautiful new downtown office location * enjoyable to spend 40+ hours a week around good people with varied interests

Cons

* the old office needed improvement - bad area of SF * didn't have marketing hire until very recently

Pros

Beyond has a strong mission, talented employees, and opportunities to work on meaningful projects. I enjoyed collaborating with cross-functional teams and appreciated the chance to contribute to innovative work. The people I worked with were supportive, skilled, and passionate about what they do. I also gained valuable experience and grew professionally during my time here.

Cons

The culture shifted significantly following management changes. There was an increased emphasis on oversight, administrative tracking, and process, which reduced autonomy and trust. As a designer, I found myself spending more time documenting work than focusing on design and creative problem-solving. Unlimited PTO policies felt restrictive in practice, making it difficult to fully disconnect and recharge. Workload distribution at times appeared inconsistent, which could impact morale and growth opportunities. These factors contributed to burnout and ultimately influenced my decision to leave.
