Pros

They offer decent pay but at a high cost to your time and do not approve overtime but expect you to work

Cons

So many from poor management to how they treat residents and staff to not having money to pay vendors as well as make repairs. I cant stress enough you will have I work life balance and they will expect you to do work out of your job description to keep a skeleton crew

Pros

I really enjoyed my time with Birge & Held. I had an excellent regional (Dan Hansen). I really enjoyed the transparency and was able to expand my skillset as a manager during my employment. I was always encouraged to try new things and obtain certifications relevant to my goals. I wouldn’t have left this company if it weren’t for my specific personal life circumstances. I am sad to see the negative reviews, as that was not my experience and it is not the experience of the friends I have who are still employed there. -fair compensation -excellent benefits -progressive views company wide -open door policy -flexibilty

Cons

There will always be cons in this industry. Nothing can be perfect. But this was a family forward, resident forward company.

Pros

There are a lot of opportunities for growth in various parts of the business. Those who drive results are recognized and rewarded.

Cons

The company's desire to refine processes can lead to frequent change, but that's to be expected from a company trying to poise itself for growth.
