Pros
Great environment if you're into the outdoors. Excellent coworkers. Culture is laid-back but still accountable. Promotes environmental activism and responsibility. Having dogs at work is nice. My manager has been excellent--very accommodating and helpful.
Cons
Three rounds of layoffs have driven morale into the ground. Multiple restructuring efforts and leadership turnover in the past few years have caused a persistent sense of instability. Communication was handled pretty poorly for much of those transitions, leaving the employees suspicious and paranoid. Leadership and communication has started to improve recently, but it feels like too little too late. Most positions are paid well below industry standards. Little to no opportunity for promotion. Management is hit-or-miss. Some departments are very over-worked, which has caused a lot of turnover.
