Good company, okay pay and benefits. Other departments might be better than marketing.
Cons
The marketing company is in a free fall. People are either getting fired or quitting left and right. Employee moral is at an all time low. Instead of being nice to each other employees are bullying one another. We are having such staffing issues since the pay in under the market rate we can’t even get temporary contractors to sign on. The work load is insane and everything is done in a rush. You will be expected to be available 24/7 and get a project done in 2 hours that you would have 2 weeks to do at another company. Despite the rush there is no room for errors. All marketing best practices go out the window. Just get things done no matter how outdated they are is the mindset here. If you are thinking about taking a job in the marketing department, don’t.
