Poor personal/work balance. Poor payment. RIM's HR doesn't have enough experience to deal with the fast growth of the company. RIM is growing to be a multi-international company but people's mind isn't growing as fast - decision making is by far the most in-efficient and risk-taking is absolutely out of the question for consideration - even if very moderate risks are not allowed. Risk analysis and management is close to zero. Also RIM is one of the most political company in this industry. Dealing with too much politics is slowing people down.
