There are major communications issues internally. One department would not know what the other was doing and would often put the employee in a tight situation. An example is when one dept would schedule training for the employee and the employee would have to trade shifts so they can do the training because the scheduling dept would not accomodate for the training. Another example is when a new product or software is released and they wouldn't tell us and expect us to support it when a customer calls in about it. We often feel very unprepared for the job and a lot of the time we need to reach out to the internet for our information.
