Pros

I loved my team, and enjoyed the challenge of the work. I also learned a lot very quickly. The industry is growing rapidly and not going anywhere any time soon, so there was great job security.

Cons

Not a lot of gender or racial diversity. Most management roles are white men, general and support staff in the corporate office was almost all women. I am sure this was not intentional - it's a construction company, after all, which does not exactly attract women.

Personal Company Truck + Fuel and Maintenance Card. Rotation every three weeks 5 days with paid flight home and rental. Most weekends off if working solar projects.

Cons

Working away from home. A lot of driving across the US to New projects. 10-12 hour work days.
