Pros

-good benefits, good work-life balance, nice facility, many co-workers are decent and reasonable people, work is often meaningful, good location, good opportunies to learn

Cons

-Employee morale is plummeting due to senior management trying to get leaner and meaner at expense of employees. -True leadership is seriously lacking. Managers blow smoke upward, celebrate heroes who put out fires (instead of those who prevent them), and employees try to keep their heads down in fear. -Used to be a respectful workplace, but no longer. Younger, newer, ambitious suck-ups are now those getting promoted. Those with more tenure and knowledge often work very hard, but are not properly recognized or rewarded. Their reward is more work. Conversely, if you suck up properly, you don't really need to know what you are doing, or even do it. -Lots and lots of silos. -IT is immature and ignorant. Old technology, mediocre skills among staff, poor leadership and low morale. -Did I mention that employees are not valued or treated with respect?

Pros

Limited knowledge transfer and onboarding support for new team members. New hires are often expected to figure things out with minimal guidance. Workplace politics can sometimes impact collaboration and decision-making. Managers may not always be actively involved in supporting team members or addressing concerns. Full-time employees are occasionally treated differently than contractors, creating an uneven work environment. Documentation and process knowledge sharing could be improved. Work culture can be stressful at times, leading to challenges with work-life balance and employee morale.

Cons

Good exposure to projects and technologies. Opportunity to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
