Pros

Consistent growth opportunities, amazing collaboration with special committees, including safeguarding, ethics, compliance, grand rounds for behavior support, and advocacy to where you always feel supported, important values I share, including compassionate care, high quality, research-based treatment, teaching and promoting advocacy for the learners and their families, and great opportunities for bonuses across positions

Cons

Turnover of BTs/RBTs, but still less than average of other ABA companies

Pros

There are many pros to working as a BCBA for BlueSprig!! At the top, they understand ABA and manage the company from principles of reinforcement, feedback, and strong ethical practice. As a clinician, I feel supported by the resources and community afforded by a large company. At the center level, while still having the framework and solid SOPs, there is freedom to develop the culture of the center community. BlueSprig is very supportive of outreach, creative projects, and enriching activities for the kids. There are niche projects for clinicians who are interested in research through a research mentorship program. I feel that the company values best practice and ethical practice and is consistent in exemplifying their values throughout the organization.

Cons

Communication: When large program or policy changes are rolled out, the communication isn't always timely, clear, or with follow up.

Pros

The RBTs and BCBAs are great and truly care for the children. You are able to work with a multitude of children and staff instead of a small team. They provide decent insurance.

Cons

This company does not put money into the clinics or stimuli for the clients. If you need something for a child, expect to have to purchase it with your own money. Bluesprig also does not provide any RBTs for administrative tasks so if you need materials made, you have to do it on your personal time at home. Additionally, with no admin time the clinics become dirty. If I toured one of the nearby clinics, I would not send my child there due to the filth on the walls and toys. When you are provided with an evaluation, it is 6 months after the review period. It is obvious that the CEO has no behavioral background because there are no incentives to motivate RBTs (or the children for that matter). This is the consensus of multiple BCBAs and RBTs from different clinics, not just my opinion.
