Pros

Out of 20 years in the field, Bond Vet has been the most welcoming for me. I've worked in corporate, private, ER, shelter med, etc., from reception to management. Bond Vet gave me the opportunity to prove myself and seek new challenges that elevated my work capabilities. I feel that Bond has a great delivery on the medical quality they promise. I love the transparent culture, because even if you are not aware of who does what in the company, you can always ask and get the answer. I know that I can reach directly out to anyone, even the CEO. At first, I was hesitant to return to a corporate office, and I can confidently say that the entire upper management fits into one medium sized room; it's not a disconnected shadow group that micromanages like other locations. I have a level of trust in my team that is rare in this field. I trust that there are highly qualified people overseeing the responsibilities that make it easy for me to enjoy why I work here in the first place. There's tuition reimbursement, profit sharing structures, frequent social outings to unwind, and I get paid well for my skill level. The CEO is a very approachable person, and I appreciate that he does not arrive to a clinic and ignore the staff - he's actually quite the joker. Long-term veterinary people will know that all veterinary locations have the same standard concerns: staffing, client's ability to pay, insurance provider changes, burnout management, etc.

Cons

Sometimes, there are delays in IT, but it does get addressed in time. Still waiting for that new hire swag from two years ago

Pros

The best part about working here is definitely the people and the culture. Management really invests in your growth with great learning opportunities and hands-on CE.

Cons

Because the team is small, everyone is super accessible and response times are quick—but actual backend action and implementation can feel depressingly slow.

Pros

There were pros when I initially started but those went away once they pulled the guy from City MD.

Cons

ZERO communication of any sort. Zero planning. Zero idea on how to properly run a business. No support from marketing, senior leadership team that feels like they make decisions in the moment without a thought of how this will affect the staff. Closed an entire travel department down without thinking that the clinic staff would need training. They just closed an entire clinic with zero warning. Zero notice. Not a word. Staff? Who thinks about them....
