Work from home, work 4 days a week

The worst place of employment in my career. I have never met such fake and manipulative upper management with no genuine regard for their employees. The team I was apart of was constantly overworked, understaffed, and under-appreciated. During my time with the company I was the first surgery concierge, handling all surgery inquiries and bookings for every client with no proper training or experience. I also assisted on various marketing endeavors and was a team lead, providing weekly check ins and monthly performance reviews for those in my group. I had to practically beg for a $1/hr raise and was later told I only received the “promotion” because I live in NYC. At my yearly review, since I had just received a raise, I received an additional $.50/hr. They are incredibly cheap, do not care about turnover, and promote an incredibly toxic workplace environment. I firmly believe I lost literal years of my life at this job and am upset I allowed myself to be taken advantage of for so long. Please do not buy into their marketing- they are unfortunately like so many other vet clinics and are certainly not changing the industry.

Pros

The best part about working here is definitely the people and the culture. Management really invests in your growth with great learning opportunities and hands-on CE.

Cons

Because the team is small, everyone is super accessible and response times are quick—but actual backend action and implementation can feel depressingly slow.

Pros

There were pros when I initially started but those went away once they pulled the guy from City MD.

Cons

ZERO communication of any sort. Zero planning. Zero idea on how to properly run a business. No support from marketing, senior leadership team that feels like they make decisions in the moment without a thought of how this will affect the staff. Closed an entire travel department down without thinking that the clinic staff would need training. They just closed an entire clinic with zero warning. Zero notice. Not a word. Staff? Who thinks about them....
