Pros

Bond is responsive to disgruntled Veterinarians and licensed technicians

Cons

There is an overall lack of integrity in Bond Vet leadership. It was my experience that the things you agree upon with leadership are rarely upheld and there is no ownership when there are changes to those plans. Bond paints a beautiful picture during the interview and hiring process but once you are in this role you see that picture chips away quickly. As a CM, you will be told that you are the "business owner" of the clinic which means you are empowered to make decisions for your clinics. Every decision will be questioned and/or criticized at a level that can only be described as micro-managing. This leads to self doubt among the Clinic Managers who strive to improve their decision making process based on those questions but are continuously met with a lack of trust. They also work to retain staff that are not a strong culture fit because of the rate of expansion. Staff that are not working out are retained in order to have enough staffing to open the next clinic. This leads to countless avoidable issues. There is a robust HQ team which initially seems like a huge benefit to the in clinic teams however, the reality is that each HQ team will send updates or initiatives to start without communicating with each other. The result in clinics is confusion which leads to negative experiences for staff and clients. Bond could benefit from having the HQ teams loop in regional clinic leadership who could determine in clinic impact and proper roll out of information. Finally, Bond is paying staff to leave positive reviews on Glassdoor.

Pros

The best part about working here is definitely the people and the culture. Management really invests in your growth with great learning opportunities and hands-on CE.

Cons

Because the team is small, everyone is super accessible and response times are quick—but actual backend action and implementation can feel depressingly slow.

Pros

There were pros when I initially started but those went away once they pulled the guy from City MD.

Cons

ZERO communication of any sort. Zero planning. Zero idea on how to properly run a business. No support from marketing, senior leadership team that feels like they make decisions in the moment without a thought of how this will affect the staff. Closed an entire travel department down without thinking that the clinic staff would need training. They just closed an entire clinic with zero warning. Zero notice. Not a word. Staff? Who thinks about them....
