Pros

Lots of really great, smart people work at Bond who are very dedicated and committed to what they do. I love my coworkers. On a foundational level, there's a lot to love about Bond and its original mission.

Cons

Like many startups, there's a LOT of change - which is okay. But the changes are often both rushed AND poorly communicated. There's a significant amount of distrust between HQ and the clinic teams, and a lot of finger-pointing and accountability shifting as to where the problems lie. Many people (especially those who have been at Bond a long time) Bond's current actions and its original mission do not often align, and promises made years ago (that seemed like a good idea at the time) were not financially viable in the long run but now just feel like huge disappointments to the people for whom they were made. Related to that - there are not really any growth opportunities anymore. People (who still have jobs after the restructuring this past fall) remain stagnant in roles with what feel like empty promises for future promotions, but there are no plans in place to get them there. Usually they are just asked to take on more work and projects in the hope that it'll one day pay off. Lastly, the company used to be a lot more diverse and had a lot more women in leadership roles (including one of the founders who has since stepped away) - but most of the recent senior hires that have been made have mostly been white men, which is disappointing given the diversity of the clinics.

Pros

The best part about working here is definitely the people and the culture. Management really invests in your growth with great learning opportunities and hands-on CE.

Cons

Because the team is small, everyone is super accessible and response times are quick—but actual backend action and implementation can feel depressingly slow.

Pros

There were pros when I initially started but those went away once they pulled the guy from City MD.

Cons

ZERO communication of any sort. Zero planning. Zero idea on how to properly run a business. No support from marketing, senior leadership team that feels like they make decisions in the moment without a thought of how this will affect the staff. Closed an entire travel department down without thinking that the clinic staff would need training. They just closed an entire clinic with zero warning. Zero notice. Not a word. Staff? Who thinks about them....
