Pros
Profit sharing was nice and they hire mostly good people for DVMs and back house staff.
Cons
Insane amount of favoritism on the regional level and company wide. Horrible schedule. Most managers would refuse to attempt a set or rotating schedule and don’t post schedule in timely manner like we were promised in the handbook. The company loves to change policy specifically PTO and insurance whenever they feel like it. They love to change PTO and sick policy whenever it suits them to win an argument. I think I had to change my insurance 3 times in one year because the company wanted to cheap out. It is a complete revolving door so you never know who works for the company or who to contact for certain things. HR is completely unresponsive. They open clinics too close together geographically and will just open them whenever they want without any regard to current staffing issues in existing clinics. 1:1:1 staff ratios almost daily.
