Pros

There is a ton of opportunity for growth within Bonterra and leadership is always looking to grow folks from within. It's a particularly positive culture for women to grow in with a lot of female leaders and desire to disrupt a male dominated industry. The unlimited PTO policy is widely utilized and there isn't the frowning upon using time off you see at other companies with the same policy. Over the course of the years I've received consistent promotions, opportunity for success and recognition. It's a great place to further your career if you're feeling stagnant.

Cons

Moving fast can give leaders limited time to spend with the folks under them at times which can sometimes be frustrating on both sides. As with any recently merged company there are a lot of decisions still to be made and processes still to be perfected so if you're looking for a very established company it might not be the best fit.

Pros

As a person, I felt well taken care of by my management chain. We were encouraged to explore and be vocal and I never felt micromanaged.

Cons

- Questionable payment structure for ICs (no bonus plan) - Leadership doesn't do much of anything but takes all of the credit while the rest of us get laid off - Like most companies run out of Austin, it's a cash grab at the top while ICs do all of the work with little direction
