Pros
-There are still some great people here. For the most part, the mission of the business attracts people who want to do good in the world, and that results in great coworkers -Customers are awesome -Benefits are good -The incoming CEO seems to have the right insights and approach to have a chance at rescuing the business, results TBD
Cons
The outgoing C-suite was one of the dysfunctional groups of people I have ever worked under. Lots of peacocking, heavy emphasis on looking and sounding good, no accountability or results. They squandered almost two years post-merger punting making any functional, operational decisions, preferring instead to fly around hanging out with each other at expensive off-sites. The leaders who came in preferred to hire their buddies instead of promoting existing talent, which has contributed to incredibly low morale among longer term employees and massive turnover, even aside the two rounds of layoffs (totaling 30% of employees by now). The new folks brought in have zero experience in nonprofit, pubsec, and political fields and do not value this - that is going to have a negative impact on the customers (it already is).
