Pros
Paid weekly. Good discount. Good music. You can wear pretty much anything that looks like something that boot barn sells
Cons
Pay. The company hires people at a lower rate and instead you get spiffs for selling certain items. The problem is that not everyone is honest about who helps the customers. They just give themselves credit for the sales. One day it was an associate with 4,900 in sales and another associate with less than 1,000. So basically, you have no idea how much you will get paid from week to week. Benefits are not cheap for what you get. The system does the schedule, not the manager. So the district manager can cut your hours without notifying you. If you don’t look at the app every day you won’t know if your shift got cut. No vacation time for at least 4 months of work.
