Pros
The culture is unique and very intellectual and entrepreneurial. Colleagues are respectful and smart and engaged. It is a well-respected research institution and just outside of Boston.
Cons
There is very little mobility within certain departments and the University is largely run by the academy (vs. the staff). Pay is not at all commensurate with experience and education and not at all comparable to other like institutions.
