Pros

I have had such an incredible experience working at BreachLock. First, let's start with the interview. It was a very organized and streamlined process. Immediately, I was encapsulated by the vision management had for the future of this organization. They mentioned how they wanted to take the traditional pen testing industry and completely disrupt it. I was very intrigued and excited. To my surprise, after each interview management seemed more interested in my personal and career growth. It felt like they wanted me to succeed just as much as they cared about the expansion of BreachLock. I have never worked at a place that was so invested in me. During this process, I spoke about my goals for the future and what I wanted out of working at BreachLock. They assured me that if I put in the work those goals will be accomplished and more. I started at BreachLock as an Account Executive and worked to learn the ins and outs of the organization, as well as the vulnerability management industry. During that time I had full support and training from management and they made sure that I could communicate with clients efficiently and effectively. I really felt like I was given the resources and aid I needed to excel. After a little under a year at BreachLock, management promoted me to the position of Director of Sales due to the great work I had achieved. When they told me "if I work hard good thing will come" they were not kidding. Fast forward to now (when I am writing this review), I couldn't be happier with BreachLock and everything they have done for me. I have a great job, the work/life balance is awesome, the guidance and support I have is exceptional, and I am excited to see what the future holds for me in this organization.

Cons

If you don't like working from home then this might not be a great fit currently, however, I have heard rumors that down the road they might be getting an office.

Pros

The organization prioritizes hiring for mission and cultural fit, which creates a healthy, low-drama environment where accountability is handled constructively. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities rather than blame games, and there’s a noticeable effort to retain and reposition team members when possible rather than lose them. The culture is collaborative, and the team dynamic reflects that. There have been multiple cases of people being moved to different positions to try and find the right fit - they're intentional about hiring and don't want to lose folks that fit the mission and culture. Sometimes it's just not a fit, and that's natural. There’s a clear trajectory of continuous improvement. Even during challenging periods, changes tend to result in long-term structural gains. Leadership demonstrates a willingness to iterate, keeping what works and addressing what doesn’t. Leadership is also highly engaged. While this is a self-driven workplace, managers are accessible, open to feedback, and supportive when guidance is needed. It’s rare to find both strong leadership and a grounded, values-driven team culture in one place.

Cons

The intentional, mission-focused hiring approach sometimes results in periods of heavy workload while long-term decisions are made around scaling. This can lead to temporary burnout, especially during peak seasons. However, adjustments are typically made by the end of each review period to rebalance or expand the team. While 15+ hour days weeks on end is rare, consecutive weeks of high workload can take a toll.

Pros

No pros other than being remote.

Cons

Benefits are horrible. No 401k, only 12 days of PTO Out of the 6 reps, not a single rep hit quota or was close to hitting quota. The systems they have in place are disorganized. The sales leadership provides zero training. You are expected to close a deal within less than 30 days of employment while receiving zero training or guidance other than “dial the phone and send LinkedIn messages” The number is blocked as spam. The email domain is blocklisted. You have zero opportunities for success with what they give you and how they “train” you. You are expected to pay for all travel out of pocket and then compensated 1 month later. Including a trip to Amsterdam There is no ramp period. The CEO is clueless about what he is doing and has no idea how to grow the company
