No accountability for Exec Directors and Assoc. ED's. Advancement based on favoritism not performance, therefore very little potential for growth - a popularity contest, if you will. ED's and AED's have no knowledge of processes, databases, or policies, yet judge performance of staff. Lengthy web-based trainings only, no in-person trainings. Board Members seem to be more concerned with personal benefits of being on the board as opposed to helping meet fundraising goals, elitist attitudes, treat staff and volunteers like servants. No presence of HR staff at chapters and HR managers in NY are unresponsive and only respond to ED's and AED's. Staff is on their own if have a problem with manager - no one for staff to turn to. Again, no accountability for ED's/AED's. Staff member will be fired without consideration of ED's/AED's wrongful doings.
