Pros

Schedule, great affordable benefits, ability to work from home or work at the office - your choice. You will learn EVERYTHING you need to know about the auto industry in a lienholder setting, you will be exposed to every facet of the business. You will become a professional, an excellent stepping stone, especially for those who are switching industries. For people who want "just a paycheck/just a job" while still having weekends off with the family, this is probably a great place to work as you can put in minimal effort and still get a regular paycheck. The actual material in the day-to-day is quite simple.

Cons

Nepotism/favoritism, unorganized, chaotic, no sense of direction within the company. Managers get swapped around between departments at any given moment creating green managers in highly specific job descriptions. The pay is too low for the expectations that continue to climb a peg higher every week. People who work hard and become very good at what they do are closed off from opportunities for advancement, they are told that they are "too valuable" to move forward. Hard work is never positively rewarded, be cautious of how much effort you put into your position here -- even if you're not looking for a promotion/advancement. You will be stretched extremely thin if you show you are competent in your position and you will be told that if you want advancement you need to take on all of this workload - which is NOT factual. Hard workers do not receive advancement here, people who make friends with the "right connections" do. The raises are laughable for those who actively carry an actual work ethic. The compensation in general is 35-55% below industry standards.
