- PTO policy is garbage - Culture is too strict for no apparent reason (we don’t ever see customers, but dress code is strict) - Environment sucks and will constantly give you anxiety because they lead with discipline, not development. (Though they preach it’s the other way around). - I was told I was doing great, for years from my managers, who would then disband monthly development meetings for months without word. There were several spurts, between several different managers where they wouldn’t talk to you for 3-6 months at a time, or just not talk to you at all. I would ask for feedback; “no, we don’t have anything for you, you’re doing great, just keep doing what you’re doing.” -You’ll get stuck and have no room for advancement; your choices are to become a senior in collections, go to home office, stay where you’re at, or leave so I left and I’m grateful I did. - they pride themselves on being the best culture for their employees, and now that I’ve left, what I’ve realized is that everyone else is doing the same thing, but doing it better. You get brainwashed into thinking it’s not worth leaving because they preach how great the culture is, so you think “what if the next place is not like this place?” Turns out, there are a lot of places better than Bridgecrest and if they want to compete, they need a complete overhaul. - people who are in senior leadership have worked here for years; 8-10+, except a large majority of those who are in their positions have toxic personalities; I was told that someone in high level leadership hates tattoos. I have tattoos, so every interaction with that person I could see their eyes looking at my tattoos, and not be able to say anything, so that was fun. All leaders have a serious problem over sharing (even if the tattoo part wasn’t true, I still didn’t need that information) because the place is a complete mess. The feeling of constantly being judged for how you look, what you wear, and how that will play into you getting any advancement opportunities, worrying about if you’re going to get talked to or not, laid off, fired (because as I said before, they lead with discipline) eventually gave me panic attacks. There are many people here who have had similar issues, or have to take leave from the stress. - the pay is also garbage, and not worth the toxicity you have to endure.
