Pros
The children! Clean, well maintained facilities, people committed to programs like "better together." Career advancement opportunities are sometimes available. Centers located around the country so transferring is usually a viable option if necessary. Slightly higher hourly wage than similar day care settings.
Cons
Very poor management, unclear policies and regulations, lack of respect for teachers, low employee morale, poorly organized centers. Often, leadership fails to communicate openly and honestly with staff. Difficult to accrue vacation time when management sends teachers home to save on labor pay. Large amounts of paperwork, but no time scheduled to complete it. Broken office equipment (computers, printer, etc) and slow response to repair it.
