Pros

- Strong pipeline - Flexibility to work remote 1 or 2 days a week - I really like the people on my team

Cons

- Quality of management. Our internal survey reveals this every year and nothing changes. - Constant reorganizations. These reorganizations lead to good people losing their jobs or having their responsibilities reduced. Meanwhile the senior management gets promoted. This has happened in public affairs and HR in the last month.

Pros

Organized, Opportunity for growth, great internship program

Cons

Very big company, sometimes it's hard to get a good idea of how the entire company and all of it's departments connect.

Pros

Interesting work that brings new medicines addressing unmet medical needs. Working with a group of highly skilled and knowledgeable people Allowing requests to be laid-off with generous severance enabling early retirement if so desired.

Cons

Loss of experienced people leading to loss of institutional knowledge and expertise at getting things done right the first time. Many new folks learning their jobs. Continuous budget cuts and layoffs - good news is established folks can request layoff and retire early WORST huge errosion in medical benefits. 2025-2026 32% increase in cost of single person high deductible insurance. Huge increase in allowable billable cost for the same cpt code services (eg. 2025 Dr visit $115 and same visit in 2026 $247). This change was hidden from employees until they went to the Dr and received their EOB bills. Company is managing loss of patents/revenue by hitting employee health care hard
