Pros
Complex, global challenges present good opportunities for professional growth. Company has good reputation. Overall good co-workers.
Cons
Recent staffing cuts have been too deep in some areas, others appear to be unaffected. Work life balance can be difficult to achieve in some departments, burn-out is a real risk. Salaries are a bit below competitors for everyone but the senior management (whose salaries are above market-level). Departments are still a bit insulated and act in the department self interest, rather than an enterprise-wide view. Some of the restructuring seems to have been poorly thought out. The company is flush with cash, but some of the facilities are in a severe state of disrepair. Company benefits have suffered (such as the quality of the cafeteria).
