Okay high-school job - Swim Instructor British Swim School Employee Review

Awesome staff and Nice company

I wish there were more hours

will hire basically anyone on the spot so its good for quick cash

lol they throw you into the lessons with basically zero training. customers think they’re paying for a swim coach when really theyre paying for an overworked twenty year old giving advice that they think sounds right based off of youtube videos they watched. (source: i was that twenty year old. we were ripping people off so bad. a lesson valued at around $200 pays out about $9 to the instructor. where does the rest of the money go?) not to mention working here was absolute hell, zero breaks, zero benefits, in freezing cold water made to repeat the same lessons over and over and over again. management was super unprofessional and would create problems for employees, parents, and kids, very accusatory environment. genuinely one of the worst jobs i ever had. never going back.
