Pros
Good people around you, there is a few good people in management (Majority sucks).
Cons
- Terrible compensation. Far below industry average despite the fact management claims it is competitive. They also just reduced their benefits by at least 70%, this only impacts people with families. Senior Employees get dividends when they are "deemed fit" (meaning only upper management), these amounts are significant. Instead of management paying their employees a fair market rate, management would rather get that money paid out for a bit more in dividends. If you compare the dividends paid out yearly (per person who receives) vs average employee, it is laughable. This is absolutely embarrassing for a company that generates hundreds of millions of USD. - They do Flex Time, which is a fancy way of saying you are overworking your employees and avoiding overtime pay. You are required to use Flex Time almost immediately after attaining it, which is often not possible due to other project requirements. They also require you to coordinate and request the time you are owed with management, and they can say no (not approve the time off) if they want to. - There is no genuine incentive to perform, if you work hard and perform, you will see little to no benefit career and money wise. The experience gap between Senior and other employees is significant (due to bad retention), so we have a bunch of new hires who suck at their jobs. If you perform and do well, they would rather let you walk than pay you what you are worth. I could continue, but it would be a waste of time. Use this as a stepping stone to gain experience and leave.
