Pros

Lots of brands (too many?) with more everyday. Focus is on wholly owned but almost 1/2 of the portfolio are brokered wines.

Cons

Ownership is split between 2 main (3 all together) factions of the Franzia family. They do not see eye to eye and individual market managers are frequently caught in the middle. Once senior ownership passes the baton, they could become one of the industry's leaders.... not until. They pride themselves on paying at low end (or less) of area saleryl.

Recent high turnover was predetermined. In my time there, the company was streamlining, laying off a bunch of staff, and then started re-hiring quite quickly.
