Pros
Other than being around zoo animals everyday there isn't much, you'll make friends with a lot of other people trying to get a job somewhere far away from here.
Cons
Horrible work environment, some older staff will be out to get for some reason or another, all the equipment is old, rusted, and barely works, the breakrooms and shop areas are infested with roaches and mice, none of the eyewash or emergency showers work and the ones that do have the water to them turned off, the main garage looks like it should be condemned you can literally see the walls and roof buckling, management will treat you like garbage and lie about promotions to get you to do more work for less money, most of the staff is unskilled and the management has no desire to train people or get them certified because they're afraid workers will leave, the roads and infrastructure there is falling apart, outdated work methods and planning, no care for the environment and more concerned about marketing and making money that never goes to animal care or staff improvements, any concerns you have will be ignored by management and if they do act on something it will take about a year of meetings to solve, they condone sexual and verbal harassment of employees by other employees, and this is just a few of things you will deal with! There's many more but I'm tired of typing, and eventually if you're foolish enough to get tricked into working for this place then you, like every other employee there will dread going to work in the morning and will be so relieved when it's time to go home.
