Pros
For years the company has been doing great. The footwear side has a great market following. The next 12 months look promising. The actual work itself is good and there's a lot to do each day. Running is highly encouraged and it's wonderful to have been part of a company which supports a healthy lifestyle. I'm a lifetime Adrenaline fan!
Cons
While the next 12 months look good I would question it after that. The unraveling that's happening internally may start to be visible soon. The culture is rapidly falling apart, not just changing. The frat boys and sorority girls are holding the keys to success. Political maneuvering is rewarded over consistent hard work and reliability. Career development is an exercise in carrot-on-a-stick nonsense and can easily be measured by how many Brooks veterans are disgruntled by the lack of support for position mobility. Smiling to people's faces then back-stabbing them is a regular occurrence. The more and more people we hire it seems that they are less and less likely to contribute anything but middleman management. Sometimes they even have a hard time explaining what they do here.
