Pros

Pay parity Variables are well quantified Work from home allowance Product led strategy Solid foundation to weather the storm

Cons

- Not a rewarding environment for managers, you don’t get a pat on the back but sure get the blame - Blame from the people you manage for the pressure and lack of infrastructure to help them do better - Pressure from above to extract maximum from the team with no efforts to address grass root problems - Processes defined in haste, no one sticks to one strategy and lack of patience to see any strategy to work - Everything is needed yesterday, no one says no to the leadership, no one dares to - Hiring done in haste, many cultural miss fits with unreasonable targets in this economy - Browserstack is all work and no fun, no efforts or support from management for team building, learning, enablement. - No sense of brotherhood, no onsites, there is no one working as a TEAM towards a common goal, everyone for themselves and that’s mainly coz no one has ever come together as a team to bond or connect, everything is virtual and management doesn’t wanna get anyone together - Recognition program doesn’t exist beyond one CEO award every quarter - No major career progression for managers , you might move up but you continue to do the same work - Overall sense of panic flows from top down

Pros

BrowserStack is a powerhouse for anyone looking to build a career in SaaS product world. What makes it unique is the seamless synergy across geographies: incredible product development and engineering engines driving innovation from India, which perfectly fuels the high-velocity teams executing in the US and EU markets. The market position of the product is undisputed, making it an excellent territory for sales professionals. Collaboration across regions is smooth. BrowserStack is an excellent environment for long-term career growth.

Cons

Cross-border resource planning and hiring pipelines can occasionally create unexpected delays during peak quarterly cycles.

Pros

None that I can think of. Maybe a couple decent/sticky products

Cons

Onboarding is 99% product and training reps to be Sales Engineers. Almost not focus on sales strategy. US sales team is treated like temp sub-contractors. No senior leadership or true support for US team. No sense of direction. Horrible communication. Everything that helps make a sales org go is run out of India. A customer could be begging to buy software and it can takes to get them a quote.
