Pros

Minimal. Cellphone and internet compensation. Updated IT equipment. Compensated for IT training and certifications.

Cons

Managers are not qualified, they have simply been there the longest. Total lack of direction in IT. Most of their IT framework is based on 40+ year old technology. STRONG resistance to change. Several "dinosaurs" in place that will hold back the company in power. The best interest of the business takes a back seat to the personal gains of the company. There is so many people with IT Titles that do not know what a USB port is. Acquisitions are done from the book "How not to do acquisitions". Very little accomplished each day as most of the days are spent in useless meetings that will take place 10 times with the same result. This is a stagnant IT organization with little to no chance for growth. Backstabbing is commonplace. This was a good stepping stone where I learned a great deal, but I would not recommend it to anyone who truly cares about their job and what they do each day. Work/Life Balance is horrendous. There is many weeks where I worked from sun up to when I passed out. Bad employees are kept to fester like a bad piece of meat in a refrigerator. Good employees are not compensated and simply worked to makeup the difference.

Pros

Overall, the company is a large family, at least in the St Louis IT team. Was very happy there, but was lured away by money. If given the chance, I would return in a heartbeat. The team was amazing and the culture was supportive. I should have never left.

Cons

Some of the tech is s little behind. They are working to improve and become current, but a large company takes time.

Pros

It's an easy Job the system they use its relatively easy to understand and perform your job.

Cons

Where should I start from the I worked on the night shift for about a week and realized this job wasn't for me from working 16 to 18-hour days for reasons unknown the as400 system goes down at 0400 in the morning yes you are still working at this time the processes that are put in place makes zero sense from employees working from 5pmto 5am or sometimes 5pm to 9am in the morning truly makes no sense if you are into staying late, I don’t have a life or you don’t cherish the quality of your life. This place is definitely for you, but it's one of the worst jobs I’ve ever tried. It only took me one week to realize I wasn’t gonna be there anymore or coming back. One thing that offended me was how callous and nonchalant they are about you working 16 to 18 hours as a supervisor. I was dumbfounded, as if it were a normal occurrence. I don’t care how much money they’re paying me. I am not working consistently; 16 to 20, or 18, hour days are truly ridiculous. It is a revolving door. They are not gonna have supervisors. Stay there for a long period of time, the worst job ever.
