Pros
- It pays every week (In Georgia that's hard to find). - The Various store managers are very knowledgeable about their department. - The employees discount (for when you buy clothes or other things). and that's it. - A Massive selection of clothes (if you're in a big store).
Cons
Corporate is wasting money like it's drinking water. - They don't have much room for growth. It seems like even the department managers are unsatisfied with their pay. - They need to pay the employees more and worry less about retarded things like people can't wear their cellphone holsters on their hip while "on the floor". - They don't pay as much as other electronic stores (that are in the retail category). - Starting pay varies wildly from person to person. - Hours are so inconstant. One week you work 12 hours, next week you work 29 and the next week you work 9 hours - Department managers don't seem to be cross-trained in other departments. - Training sucks (not much computer or video guided courses). They like to throw you in the pool and tell you to swim. This is a problem for people like me who come from electronics Retail stores that don't do the EXACT same procedures, have different methods and have less "run around" when having to complete a task. - The employees are only there for a paycheck and the discount (Which means this is an obvious dead end job). - Corporate seems to not care about part-time employees. Which is sad because 90% of the company is Part-Time employees. Only Leads and Department managers are considered "Full-Time". - The health insurance for part-time employees is a joke. You're better off paying for your own insurance. - They shred (stained) clothes that have been returned. When it can be washed and sold for half price.
