      Management can be flexible with hours.

      Cons

      -You feel like you are being watched 24/7 and micromanaged due to loss prevention. -No consideration of work-life balance. It's possible to get your schedule one day before the next work week starts. -Constantly short-staffed; scheduling is terrible

      Good pay and teamwork, but long hours and tight payroll

      Pay is in the top portion of retailers. Teamwork environment. Prefers to promote from within @ store level.

      Cons

      Store open hours is vast, with the store being open until midnight on Friday and Saturdays. As the SM, you will work most weekends. You will work all weekends from October until mid-January. Inventory at least 2x/year, Customers are messy, sometimes disrespectful. SM is the only salaried mgr in the store. Payroll is tight. SM usually works 50+ hrs/week, sometimes more.

      Pros

      Easy on boarding process, you can easily change your availability with no questions asked, accommodating to students.

      Cons

      Poor overhead management and inconsistent hours. Depending on daily shipments you could work shifts ranging from 3 to 10 hours a day. Managers are overly aggressive and demeaning to employees for issues out of their control.
