Pros

Lots of opportunities for cross-training and lots of room for growth in/from other positions but meaningful raises are unlikely to be offered along with the increase in workload. Most coworkers are super helpful and friendly. The culture is generally positive. The system we service is very intuitive and something I can advocate for honestly. Work/life balance is a 5 during most of the year. Flexibility is excellent.

Cons

No CSL was promoted in the past several months but the clear promotion freeze was not communicated. Meanwhile, sign on bonuses were offered to new hires and my quarterly bonus was the lowest it's ever been (which is an expected part of my salary and the only reason I accepted the lower-than-average base). The culture is often called cult-like which is easy to get wrapped up in. There are clear "favorites". The work load is practically unmanageable for CSLs. The nondisclosure clause in our contract (which was not disclosed in the hiring process, but is my own error in not reading thoroughly) leaves us working more for less with no chance at advancement. Changes were made to our pay structure in recent years without ever being disclosed to those who were not immediately affected which has hurt my belief in leadership transparency. Work/life balance is a 1 at annual enrollment time, which is unfortunate because it's also the Holiday season.
