Pros
Good introduction into the HVAC field. They hire right out of school, giving people an opportunity when most require 3-5 years of experience. Pay scale is better than a lot of other companies in the area. Great exposure to HVAC equipment, you can work on 9k btu wall bangers to 500Ton chillers. If they like you they will keep you busy and get you paid. Usually, you get what you put into it. Stay off of their bad radars and it'll work out. The system here generates independent, good and great service techs, which is why a lot of companies recruit C&L technicians. Fellow technicians are a great resource to learn from and with.
Cons
The reputation as of late has been well deserved. The company does not train individuals like they used to. Micro managing has become 1 of their top priorities. Favoritism and neglect of honest, and loyal technicians leads to poor attitudes. Surprisingly gossip is an issue. 2 way camera is always watching you which means they can always see and hear you. At times you feel forced to work for free. No paid drive time. Pick up materials on your own time to meet time limits. Writing up work orders before and after work to make time limits.
