deadend career, stifling environment - Applications Development Manager CA Technologies Employee Review

No career path. Big titles given to avoid complaints from employees allowed to stay on when their company was aquired by CA. Weak management, polical games and positioning is continuous. The smallest department is treated as a business unit and must survive off of scraps. Layoffs/redundancies are a habit. Managers are encouraged to offshore by putting in place impossible budget/time constraints. Management shows no appreciation for the development of employees skills, uses employees for a particular job and then lays them off, employees are an easily replaceable commodity, doesn't seem like intentional permanent employment policy.
