Cons
- SAFe transformation, which was rightly brought in by the CEO, is being killed by PMs and GMs who are unwilling to get their hands dirty trying implement something new. Unwillingness or no interest in changing or learning. - Fulltime SAFe transformation consultants with little or no will to put in the leg work to understand what needs to be transformed. - Cost saving exercise: You can move up the ladder, but it will not align with salary increases. The only way to get paid is to be a single point of failure and threaten to leave or come in with a resume with 15 years of experience (regardless of relevance to the position). - Fall back for IBM sr. mgt who want to coast through their twilight years getting paid while superficially making it look like they are giving it the old college try. - Line managers with little or no connection to employees or will to evaluate talent. They only care about maintaining the status quo and appearances.
